Difficult thoughts about Turkey

Difficult thoughts about Turkey
By Elze Erwteman

My thoughts go to the widows of those serving men
They had no fear of bringing your everlasting words
Words of life eternal for our weary souls
I just am glad those precious men are Yours

With knives sharpened they came to destroy
Their hearts filled with hateful thoughts
Your men welcomed them as their own
Their faces lightened, but if they had known.....

Innocence, beauty of God so precious to be seen
Those that are endowed by it I long to be along
Those hateful men are not aware of the Olam haba
A ray of light from heaven, the Alpha and Omega

Your men are free now in your Presence
Great suffering before they breathed their last
You know that pain my Lord, for you were pierced for us.
Everlasting comfort for those widows and children I trust.
