Hineh El Yeshuati

By Michal Nobach-Bergen
Look, Yeshua, the salvation of Israël!
Just look at Him, Hallelujah. Let us praise Him!
How can we please Him? What we would say, if He would suddenly stand in the town visible to us smiling, with wide open arms lovingly inviting us and would call us:
“Hineini, Anochi Jesjoeatecha l’Israel” (“Look at me, I’m the Redeemer of Israel”).
I think we will at first be numb with shock. Then slowly draw near to Him and will be walking around Him, very careful. But He will, I think, wait very patient and sovereign and see how we react further. I also firmly believe that we will come off slowly. Then at first, perhaps with a gentle hop, we might then jump out of sheer joy and rotate? Hands in the air and full of gratitude, because He is there? It seems so logical that we also express with our body the joy of our salvation. As a child begins to move when his/her mother finally lifts her/him out of the crib or playpen babies show their joy and gratitude with great exuberance, which is further developed while growing up.
With this introduction, I would simply indicate that the dance also is given to us in order to express our emotion that has to do with the Creator. In Zephaniah 3:17 it says: “Adonai your God is in your midst, a mighty one who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness, he will renew you in His love. He will rejoice over you with singing.”This rule is literally translated from Hebrew. When He moves around us and is observing us, allowing our sin, He still pulls us out of there in His love and saves us.
If He forgives us, and further leads us on a path of green pastures: how much more should we approach Him with gratitude and joy in a dance of purity and love. He will certainly be in our midst and turns our sadness into joy, if we come up with a heart of worship to Him. We are able then to experience Yeshua, salvation of Israël.
In our meetings we sing from Zimrat haAretz: Hineh El Yeshuati (44), Gili M’od (97), Simchoe (188) and Ufri haRuach (39)
