Formation of Opinion
It’s good to have an opinion; it’s a natural thought process. You formulate and conclude your opinion based on the information you receive. Your mind works with facts, and that’s how you arrive at an opinion about things.

Example 1
I remember that among the women of my non-believing family, abortion was absolutely forbidden. It was something you weren’t allowed to do, or couldn’t do. Not so much based on information, but from a deep feeling that it was simply ethically wrong. How much has this opinion changed for most people now?

Example 2
These days, you see opinions rapidly changing about the land of Adonai: Israel. A large proportion of people in Western countries now tend to condemn Israel based on the war in Gaza. A war started by the terrorist organization Hamas with a deadly, vicious attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

What is this condemnatory opinion based on?
People obtain their information through the internet and our news media. News sources are influenced by Islamists who have subtly infiltrated Western countries with their religious system. A system that aims for Sharia and Islamic law for the entire world. This system dates back to the 7th century and hates everything Jewish, especially the State of Israel. Under the guise that Israel is the last colony of the Western system, this “colony” must now be the first to disappear. This is based on false facts and manipulated by these Islamists and their hidden agendas.

What is goodness?
Psalm 36 states that the chesed (mercy) of Adonai, His goodness, reaches to the heavens. And that His faithfulness reaches to the clouds. That His righteousness extends to the high mountains, and His judgment will be a great flood. I imagine it as a kind of tsunami. Israel is the apple of His eye, and whoever touches the apple of His eye touches the Eternal Himself. Let us not lose courage, but trust in the Eternal in this time of increasing and ever more brutal antisemitism that is now openly globalizing into an intifada.

Strength and Protection
Do Westerners truly understand what this means, ultimately not only for the Jews and Israel, but for them as well? May the Eternal give you, me, and our children strength and protection in these trying times, as the nation of Israel has shown strength and perseverance since the horrific pogrom of October 7, 2023. In Him is the source of life, and in His light we see the Light.
