Newsletter: Rosh HaShanah 5774

Dear readers,

I wish you this coming year 5774 a sweet and good New Year. The deliverance which Israel experienced at the time of the Egyptian captivity will be repeated when the whole world will be covered in darkness. Deliverance begins in our souls. I like the idea that 5774 years ago G-d created our souls, beside heaven and earth. Science tells us that the earth and the cosmos is much older. Don’t let these things confuse you. G-d is the same, whatever cosmic model we use.

About the Lord it is said, “Who is like You among the heavenly powers, Hashem! Who is like You, mighty in holiness, too awesome for praise, doing wonders” (Exodus 15:11; see also Revelation 15:3-4). Darkness will cover the earth but all of Israel will be saved and those joining and clinging to Israel. And Messiah Yeshua is the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star (Revelation 22:16). The heavens give testimony of G’d. May our souls experience this truth and receive deliverance bit by bit, especially this time of the Holy Days of Israel: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Succoth.
