We remember the people who were deported.
From their familiar homes and families.
Forced against their will.
They had to go to places of violence.
Separation from loved ones, great sorrow.
Transported to places of destruction.
Beastly treated, disgraced.
Humiliated and murdered.
Creatures of the Eternal, the Beloved.
Families forever maimed by the empty seats.
We commemorate Yom haShoa.
Them and because it must never happen again.
This year the commemoration of Yom HaShoah, the Holocaust, is at the 19th of April.
