Your people will prevail

I feel so much loved by You
so much taken care of,
enveloped in Your love.

The temperature is low,
my heart is warmed by You
my spirit filled with awe
gratefull thoughts prevail

How You commanded Israel
to live in succot each year
to remember your lovingkindness
that will never fail

Your people will prevail
though times look pretty grim
I hear the hateful cries of war
You, Lord will not cease to care

Going forth for the salvation of your people,
for the salvation of Your anointed.
You did strike the head of the house of the evil
who devours the oppressed in secret**
